The second "Buns and Roses -- Romance Tea for Literacy," with emcee Candace Havens and keynote speaker, New York Times best selling author Vicki Lewis Thompson was held on Sunday, October 14th, 2007 at the North Dallas/Richardson Radisson Hotel in Richardson, Texas.
Authors from around the country, representing many different romance genres, including New
York Times bestseller Lorraine Heath and Rachel Hawthorne, Sandy Blair, Celya Bowers, Dixie Cash, Judy Christenberry, Gretchen Craig, Geralyn Dawson, Jana DeLeon, Katherine Garbera, Tracy Garrett, Jane Graves, Anna Jeffrey, Karen Kelley, Jade Lee, Kara Lennox, Janis Susan May, Dianna Love Snell, Catherine Spangler, Shanna Swendson, Jane Porter, and Alisha Paige hosted tables.

The first "Buns and Roses -- Romance Tea for Literacy" hosted by the Richardson Adult Literacy Center and the Richardson Public Library, with all proceeds going to their programs was held on Sunday, October 22nd. Guests supported literacy while meeting some of today's hottest romance authors, and enjoying an fun-filled afternoon of tea, and, yes -- buns and roses.
"Buns and Roses" was emceed by the entertainment critic for the Dorsey Gang on 96.3 KSCS Candace Havens, and featured speaker was New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Elizabeth Boyle.
